Juicy Chili Chicken Wraps

Ingredients:

For chicken marinade

  • 1 chicken breast
    • 3 tbsp meat masala
    • 1 tbsp kitchen king masala
    • 2 drops red food coloring
    • 1/2 lemon squeeze
    • pinch of salt & pepper

    Sauté ingredients

    • 1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
    • 2 baby yellow peppers (thinly sliced)
    • 2 baby red peppers (thinly sliced)
    • 2 green chilies (thinly sliced)
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • 2 tsp ginger
    • 1 tsp kitchen king masala
    • 1 tsp meat masala
    • pinch of salt & pepper
    • 2 tbsp heavy whip cream (optional)

    Cilantro Dip:

    • 1 cup lowfat cottage cheese
    • 1 cup cilantro
    • 1/2 cup green onions
    • 1 large lemon squeeze
    • 1 tsp of chili powder
    • 1 green chili
    • 2 tbsp garlic roast butter (optional)
    • 1 tbsp salt & 1 tbsp pepper
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1 tsp ginger
    • 9 mini naans

    – In a large bowl, cut the chicken into cubes and add all the ingredients listed above (under chicken marinade ingredients). Keep in fridge for at least 30 mins.

    – In a pan, warm up some oil and when hot, add the chili, ginger and garlic. Add salt and pepper to speed up the roasting. Now add in all the veggies and let it sauté on high until it reaches a light brownish color.

    – Add the chicken into the pan and keep moving the content of the pan consistently so nothing burns. Add in the kitchen king and meat masala as well as salt & pepper to taste.

    – When chicken is almost fully cooked, add some heavy cream (this is optional and definitely helps enhance the taste of this dish.)

    – After the chicken meal is cooked, make the cilantro dip. All you need is a food processor and the ingredients listed above under ‘cilantro dip’. Add all those ingredients to the food processor and you’re done.

    – Now, take your plate or a wooden board with side bowls like the one I used above. Add the cilantro dip and siracha mayo to each side dish on the board. Warm up some naan and place it on the board.

    – Add the cilantro dip to each naan piece and also some siracha mayo (if you have any). Add in the chili chicken sauté to each naan and more sauce on top. Add extra cilantro, wrap it up and take a bite!
